We know that we love Roadies -but its great that others seem to too. . .

This is what one person said on Word of Mouth Online:

We stumbled upon this Cafe & what a discovery it was! Friendly staff & a well priced, extensive menu. Our meals were delicious & a generous size. Coffee was great & dessert was lovely. If you're a bike enthusiast you will love the old bikes on display. My husband & I would highly recommend this Cafe... you'd be crazy not to check it out!

This email came in just 2 weeks after our opening:

Good morning,

I've just arrived back in Sydney after bringing one of my bikes down from Brisbane.
I stayed one night at the pub across from you and was so grateful that the next morning you were open as the facilities at
he Avon Valley were, well, put it this way, I'm not writing them a letter like this.
I had no idea of the internal decorations or the bike theme, I was just after some heart starter caffeine.
The coffee was great, the service very good and the sticky buns were perfect!
In real life I am the photographer for the NRL and so during the week I am free to tour the country on a motorbike. I've started a website and a facebook page (ridensw) to provide a comprehensive resource to bike riders touring NSW. I provide downloadable google maps and GPS Satnav route maps highlighting good riding roads and establishments which cater for riders or are run by riders.
So, of course, Roadies at Gloucester has been entered as a 'must drop in' 4 Gold helmets rated cafe! I am sending you a sticker to that effect and I hope you'll display it in your front window.
This is a small fledgling and rudimentary project but I hope it will grow. I'm doing it using my own funds and time as a service to riders and the wider riding community. If you are on Facebook, please become a fan of ridensw, that way you'll be able to get a bit more free publicity for your wonderful cafe. On Trip Advisor:

We visited Roadies whilst staying in a nearby town and were very happy with the service. We dropped in without a booking on a busy Friday night and weren't sure we would get a table. We waited only a few minutes on some comfortable lounges before being seated. The atmosphere was lovely, it was warm and decorated with motoring memorabilia...

  • Food worthy of Sydney culinary standard! Came to Gloucester for a girls weekend away and went to Roadies for dinner. Every single one of us were impressed with the quality and presentation of the meals. I had the barramundi which looks like it could come from an expensive Sydney restaurant. Friends had the pasta and pizza and were also very happy. Will definitely be back next time we're in town
